Dr. Alizay Paracha, MD MPS is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics in Tulsa, OK. She has received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Master's degree in Prevention Science, and Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma. She completed her residency training in General Pediatrics at the School of Community Medicine in Tulsa, OK in June 2023. During her time as a Master's student, she co-founded an interdisciplinary research initiative to assess social determinants of health and its link to the prevalence of asthma in the pediatric population of Tulsa, OK with the use of GIS-mapping. More recently, during her residency training, she broadened her breadth in pediatric pulmonology research by investigating CFTR modulator therapy and its effects in individuals with cystic fibrosis, specifically mental health-related adverse effects.
