My name is Alice Eastman; I am a 6th year PhD candidate in the Department of Human Genetics at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine working with Garry Cutting and Neeraj Sharma. The focus of my thesis work is on two projects: A) single-cell transcriptomics in human eccrine sweat glands with in vitro validation by 3-dimensional immunofluorescence of whole, micro-dissected glands; B) bulk transcriptomic, protein, and functional level investigation of W1282X treatment by combined NMD inhibition, readthrough, and ETI in primary cells and CFBEs.
