Chandra Gordon received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Women Studies from Kansas State University and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Kansas. She is the Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Social Worker at The University of Kansas Health System and is actively involved in various Cystic Fibrosis Foundation initiatives. Her involvement includes being a facilitator for The Partnership Enhancement Program, a Quality Improvement Coach, a member of the Racial Justice Work Group, Genetic Therapies Work Group, and the Social Work and Psych Race and Health Equity Leadership Group. In addition to providing patient care, she serves as serve a faculty member in the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND) Program at the University of Kansas. In this role, she is involved in facilitation and training, program development and evaluation, quality improvement, community advocacy, and diversity and equity initiatives all aimed at increasing awareness, services, and supports for individuals with developmental disabilities.
