Abe Sender, PA-C
Abe was born in central New York and moved to Vermont in 2001 to attend the University of Vermont, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. He subsequently earned his MSPA for the University of New England in 2008. He worked in Family Practice in Maine for 2 years before moving back to Vermont to work in Pulmonary Medicine at the University of Vermont Medical Center. He has been working with the CF population since 2010, focusing on clinical care and research. Abe is a Partnership Enhancement Program (PEP) facilitator, a community engagement consultant for the PRIDE CF study and a professional mentor for LEAPP, the CF advance practice provider (APP) fellowship program. He lives in Vermont with his wife and 2 children. In his free time, Abe enjoys rock climbing, hiking, skiing and spending time with his family.
