Chloe Ford, LCSW is a Pediatric Social Worker and Cystic Fibrosis Mental Health Coordinator at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. She is also the owner and therapist of Thereafter Therapy PLLC. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Work from Butler University while also playing Division I Volleyball. She then went on to receive her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Chloe is passionate about mental health and working with families to get the best outcomes for the patient(s). Chloe is actively involved in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives at Ann & Robert H Lurie Children’s Hospital at Chicago as well. She a co-founder of the Black Medical Social Work (BMSW) Council. She is a member of the President's Council on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Group and the Equity and Social Justice Special Working Group. She also serves as a Bias and Inclusion Ambassador where she facilitates sessions for staff on bias, inclusion, and antiracism. Chloe values building rapport with her patients and their families, and strives to create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for all backgrounds. Chloe believes a strong support system is important, and better results are achieved when everyone involved can work as a team. When Chloe isn’t at the hospital, you will find her on a volleyball court, bike riding, or exploring Chicago with family and friends.
