Kenneth Wu has worked as a physiotherapist at the Toronto Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre, St. Michael's Hospital, Unity Health Toronto, Canada for over 22 years. In 2016, he started an MSc in Rehabilitation Sciences (part-time) and later transferred to full-time PhD at the University of Toronto. Kenneth received his PhD in 2022. His PhD thesis focused on peripheral skeletal muscle structure and contractile function in adults with CF. Specifically, he investigated the role of CFTR on limb muscle structure and contractile function in the adult CF population, using ultrasound to examine lower limb muscle size and muscle composition; various dynamometers to measure muscle strength; and stair climb power test for the lower limb muscle power. Kenneth is currently a post-doctoral fellow at the Univeristy of Toronto, while he continues working with adults with CF.
